- Burns fat: You can drop a lot of weight — and quickly — on the keto diet.Ketones suppress ghrelin — your hunger hormone — and increase cholecystokinin (CCK), which makes you feel full. Reduced appetite means it’s easier to go for longer periods without eating, which encourages your body to dip into its fat stores for energy.
- Reduces inflammation: The keto diet is anti-inflammatory, and could protect you against major degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and cancer.
- Fuels and feeds your brain: Ketones provide an immediate hit of energy for your brain, and up to 70% of your brain’s energy needs when you limit carbs. Fat also feeds your brain and keeps it strong. Your brain is at least 60% fat, so it needs loads of good fats to keep it running. Essential fatty acids such as omega-3s help grow and develop the brain, while saturated fat keeps myelin — the layer of insulation around the brain — strong so your neurons can communicate with each other.
- Increases energy: Ketosis helps the brain create more mitochondria, the power generators within your cells. More energy in your cells means more energy for you to get stuff done.
- Lowers blood sugar: The keto diet may reverse and even cure diabetes. Keto stabilizes insulin levels and lowers blood sugar, to the point that many diabetics can come off their medication when switching to the diet.
The Keto diet changes the way your body converts food into energy. Eating a lot of fat and very few carbs puts you in ketosis, a metabolic state where your body burns fat instead of carbs for fuel. When your body is unable to get glucose from carbs, your liver converts fatty acids from your diet into ketones, an alternative source of energy. Burning ketones in place of glucose reduces inflammation and spurs weight loss. The Keto diet isn’t new, and it’s been around for nearly a century. It was originally developed to treat people with epilepsy. Researchers found that raised levels of ketones in the blood led to fewer epileptic seizures in patients. The keto diet is still used today to treat children with epilepsy who don’t respond well to anti-epileptic drugs.
The keto diet is made up of mostly fats (75 percent of your daily calories), some protein (20 percent) and a small amount of carbs (5 percent). Choose low-carb foods such as meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, and good fats.
Afraid of buying the wrong underwear or lingerie?
Try to choose high waist control briefs! Stretchy fabrics, seam free, and the shade must NOT be seen through the dress. The underwear must be flatten, smooth, and not overly stuck to the body that causes sidelines under the dress to show up. The underwear along the stomach briefs must shape the stomach and even hide further the cellulite, if there is. That is the magic of stomach underwear.
WEDDING DRESS GONE RIGHT, WEDDING BRA GONE RIGHT:
Choose a wedding dress that makes you feel comfortable, sexy, beautiful, and slim! Many wedding dresses are designed to help the bride look fit. Remember, if you do not have a lot of cleavage on the breasts, choose something that will enrich your breasts and lift them up. If the wedding dress requires a bra with it, choose a quality bra for wedding bridals lingerie. The wedding bridal lingerie should lift the breasts and give them a nice lifted shape, rather than a sagging shape. If the dress is backless, the bra must appear on the back as transparent, but be able to still lift the breasts. The bra straps need to be firm and comfortable, lifting the breasts correctly.
SLIMMER THIGHS – CYCLING SHORTS:
The thighs may be forgotten often, as brides may focus more on the face and breasts, or back, and shoes, but neglect how important the thighs are especially to be harmonious with the stomach. Try to go on a healthy diet one year before your wedding. On the day you decide you will get married, it is recommended to go on a healthy diet, and even further to hit to the gym! Nothing is more appealing than a fit bride. However, if you haven’t achieved the fitness you require, choose a dress that will give you a comfortable silhouette. What targets to decrease your thighs are the type that resemble Cycling shorts, and these are very are important. These pants suck in and firm up the thigh area and waistline. Seam free pair are the most crucial part of picking these cycling shorts. Ensure not to buy a pair that is stuck to you or that is way too small, it will leave marks under the dress!
PERFECT BUTTOCKS WITH SPANDEX SHAPED UNDERWEAR:
Your buttocks are important too, but the size is not the issue. The issue itself is to give a shaped buttock that improves the shape of the butt, knowing at the wedding that people will be looking at you from behind. Spandex-shaped underwear will lift your buttocks giving it a perfect shape. Avoid light wear ranges, and do not buy light string lingerie because it will not be enough to lift the buttocks. What you must buy is a firm control of pair of pants that smoothen, lift, and reduce the measurements of the buttocks giving it the ultimate shape. It is recommended to buy a pair of control pants attached also with straps to the bra. This will create an ultimate lift too, and will even make the buttocks look better!
The experience of recovering from an Eating disorder is an emotional, physical and a spiritual one combined. You experience painful as well as physical withdrawals arising due to eventual stopping of the eating disorder behaviors which can be easily compared to drug withdrawals. Its a rollercoaster of emotional fears arising from losing control of one’s life and body.
Strangely, I’ve never heard anyone talk about the surviving part of an eating disorder while in the recovery process. I think we can compare it to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well.
If you’ve lived through this agonising experience, once you stop for a moment, catch your breath and start to believe that you just might survive.
When we are in recovery, dating can be tortuous. Maybe its tortuous for every woman, but from my own experience and those of my friends in recovery. I have come to terms with the fact that my emotions brain, body do not work the same way other women’s do. It can possibly be the reason why I have experienced an eating disorder. Life sometimes just feels too scary for me, and an eating disorder made things much easier to cope with.
I needed to find something that could’ve help me cope with the illusion of feelings. Have you ever imagined why the little kids don’t ever want to sleep? Because they may be small, but they’re smart! We can certainly assume that they might have figured out that when you sleep you miss something fun that happens around them. When you are dealing with your disorder you are missing out on a lot of experiences and relationships. At present during recovery when you’ll date; I can safely say that you’ll surely experience all the feelings that go with it.
You may feel that they are incredibly uncomfortable. You may feel like going back to the closet. But before you give in to the temptation remember, dating is a part of life and if we want to be a part of it, we will take part in it.
I strongly recommend to all of you girls (myself included) to look at dating as an opening to involve yourself in life. if I’m being really honest with myself, the only thing that makes me the skeptical about dating is that if I’m doing it for validation.
I do it simply for boosting my ego? In fact, I have found myself dating guys I don’t even like (and actually find it quite irritating) just for the egotistic pleasure that someone likes me. You may wonder What happens In case they don’t end up liking me? You may find me as a hot mess full of watery eyes, crying about it. He’s simply not good enough. Although I can say with confidence, I’ve learned a thing or two from my mistakes.
In my experience:-
#1. Dating shouldn’t be about making anyone like you. It essentially is like reading a book. You never read a book to make the book like you instead you read it to learn something new from it & enjoy it. If you approach dating in this manner, to try & find out something new about the human being in front of you, you’ll have less of an emotional melt downs than I ever did.
#2. Learn your self worth and significance. If someone else had to asses my worth and value; I would definitely be anxious and petrified. The most important lesson we learn in the recovery phase is to not put our worth in our eating disorders hands.
We recognize that our worth and value includes much more than the size of our jeans. The aim for every woman should be an unwavering belief that whether someone likes or dislikes you; you are still the same, beautiful, strong woman she was before she met this guy.
#3. Taking part in life is often a bumpy, hot, sticky mess of a ride. It can be a whole lot of fun as well. I’ve experienced that dating can be scary if you let it be; but if you like it, it can also be fun if you let it be.
Most of the times, we tend to take life too seriously. Life is indeed hard; you lose friends, family, jobs, and pets. Sometimes you’ll succeed, more often than not you may fail, sometimes you’ll laugh and sometimes you may cry. But, its completely worth it.
You’ll not experience the joy that you are sharing with the people you loved again, once you miss it.
Live the moment!
Experience life and enjoy it!
- Try tucking in your shirt.
It seems that when you’re short, any shirt you wear is too long, and especially if you’re curvy; a long shirt can make you look larger around the middle than you actually are. To tuck it in is the best way to fix this situation. The rule of thumb to be followed would be to make sure that your shirt never cover your zipper.
- Add a belt to elongate your legs and bring out your waist.
If your dress has a cross-seam, use a belt! This will help you show off your natural curves and will fragment your body a bit. It also makes your legs look super-long, which is an added advantage.
- Point to keep in mind if you’re going to be cuffing your jeans.
Remember that cuffing your jeans it’s like cutting your legs off, meanwhile tucking in your shirt will certainly help fragment your body in a natural way. Also, a fitted, tucked-in shirt can be a good contrast for a cleaner look, if you’re going for a baggy boyfriend-jeans look.
- Try an asymmetrical dress with heels to give you height.
To be honest, I would personally never tell a girl that she HAS to wear heels because they’re the WORST. However, when you wear an asymmetrical dress it is best to accompany it with heels. Additionally it will also help make your calf look longer.
- Pull in your waist with a dress or skirt.
I am going to share a secret, although it’s the oldest trick in the book but I can assure you, it really does work.
I’m a major fan of the “bag dress,” but I accept, it isn’t the most flattering. So just pull in your waist for a look that shows off what you’ve got.
- If you’re going to wear cuffed jeans or shorts, skip sandals with ankle straps.
Ankle strap sandals are great but they work best if you can’t actually see the ankle strap, because it can make your calf look bigger than it is and cuts off your legs in an unnatural way. Try something lower to help give your legs all the height that they deserve.
- Tailor your shirts!
It’s unclear for whom shirts are made for. But it’s not for short girls for sure! If you have a racer back shirt, tailor it. Pulling the bottom of your shirt to the right length can cover your bra straps so you don’t have to purchase a special bra for your shirt. Even, pulling up the straps to the correct position will help you look slimmer as well.
- Try using a blazer with a boxy shirt to help soften your look.
To soften up your look throw; a blazer or jacket over it it up a bit.
Boxy shirts can make your shoulders look broader than they are.
- Skip the bat sleeve.
Bat sleeves affect girls at the largest part of their arm and can be unappealing for most people, no matter their shape or height. Go with a longer sleeve to show off your guns in all their glory.
- Always cuff long shirts.
Try cuffing your shirt to help. Break up the design. Long-sleeve shirts can give a smaller girl way too much fabric to work with.
Every woman with curves needs to know the following cheats about getting dressed.
- Strike the right balance between fitted and too tight: – You shouldn’t see lines of any undergarments through the dress, if you do; Its when you know its too tight. There’s a difference between being squeezed up in a dress and a dress fitting your body nicely!
- Everybody should have a shape wear arsenal.Every woman needs a little bit of smoothing and support sometimes. Generally, smoothing in the tummy and hips can make us look more sophisticated and elegant in our clothes. The most important piece that a woman should have is a body briefer.
- Shop through any weight changes.Even if you gain [or lose] a few pounds Do go shopping and invest in the fundamental pieces. The most essential thing is to wear clothes that fit and make sure you feel that you look your very best at every size.
- Don’t wear leggings as pants. Because of this trend there is way too much personal information visible on the streets of many cities. Leggings are not pants. There’s a reason why they are sold with hosiery and accessories in department stores. They are meant to be worn underneath clothing. (Hint: Get a pair of skinny jeggings instead!)
- When in doubt, opt for a pencil skirt. It elongates your curves and gives your body good balance.
- No outfit is complete without the right shoes.“Pay attention to your shoes. There is a saying that shoes make the 1st impression when you meet someone. Avoid straps around your ankles; they can make legs look shorter. A classic pump in a neutral will give you the cleanest line and make your legs look longest.
- Tailor your clothing.“A good tailor is every woman’s secret weapon! There’s no substitute. Most department stores and boutiques offer tailoring services too. Wearing clothes that fit properly on your body can make the difference between terrible and terrific!
- Carry the right size bag.You should choose a bag that is proportioned to your body, too small is simply not good enough. During day time, I would prefer a medium size structured tote anytime.
At night, choose a mini bag or a clutch!
Being beautiful has nothing to do with appearance, only with the heart
A beautiful woman is a woman who can be herself. A woman who smiles all the time and never cares about what others think. She is a woman who is dying inside but is still strong enough to let go of the pain & create a happy atmosphere for everyone. Even a woman who is not exactly sexually attractive but her face and personality can make your heart melt.
She’s a girl with the sweetest of smiles and gorgeous eyes. She would probably be someone that isn’t like the others. She is someone who is talented, smart and so different from every other girl. When everyone is going right, they might be the only person who’s going left.
Everything about her is mesmerizing. Her smile and laugh can stop you dead in your tracks, and her eyes seem to light up the world when they smile. Everything about her redefines perfect. She has the ability to make anyone forget how to breathe. She may cause stomach sickness, headaches, inability to think, weakness of joints/bones- making it hard to stand up straight near her.
A beautiful woman, her love just fits with you. She shares your deepest personal views and understands you. When you talk to her, you feel like she’s miles ahead of you, but yet at the same time she makes you feel perfect and beautiful as well.
You know a woman is beautiful, when you look at her face and think of her soul. When you look at her eyes and feel her love for you. When you feel her attractiveness because of her genuineness and other virtues
She is pleasant to the eye but even more so to the senses, often we are in awe of a beautiful specimen or landscape because it feels a little out of reach and hard to possess.
It’s because of who she is inside; it rubs off on who she is outside. She simply glows. Every slight imperfection becomes perfection, and just completes her.
Being single during the merry and bright holidays season can be a challenge. Frankly speaking, surprise engagements coupled with constant bombardment of romantic holiday movies over your favorite movie channel & over the top declarations of love can create an atmosphere where being single, simply doesn’t feel so great.
These feelings can just as easily make you fall prey to the hype and make you feeling miserable & feel like you’re probably missing out on all the fun.
As someone who knows what it feels like being single during the holidays; I can completely relate.
There have been times in my life where I’ve felt disheartened and have had thoughts that no one else but myself are to blame for this predicament .However, over the years I’ve picked up a thing or two, which have taught me that it’s okay being single especially during the holidays.
- Be Kind On Yourself: Eradicate or strictly limit negative thoughts. Being single is albeit a small part of who you are. Having a companion doesn’t define me and it shouldn’t define you.
- Care for your Self: While you’re running around buying gifts for others, take time to do something that you love. That can be listening to your favorite musician, reading a great book or binge watching a TV show. Take time and just relax!
- Get Out There: With tons of things to do during the holidays, there is no reason to sit home. Round up some of your other single girl/guy friends and head to brunch or a holiday show!
- No Explanation Is Necessary: Believe me; you don’t owe it to anyone (including your nosy aunt) any explanation as to why you are single. Simply don’t entertain any interrogations into why your love life doesn’t meet their standards coz frankly it’s none of their business!
I hope some of my tips will help you navigate being single during the holidays. Remember If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else?
A lowered self-esteem and anxiety can manifest as Psychological consequences of being overweight or obese, furthermore it can lead to more serious disorders such as depression and eating disorders like binge eating, bulimia and anorexia. The reason why it may occur isn’t very hard to comprehend. Modern culture is odd in the way that it idolizes youthful slim, toned bodies. With rare exceptions, only thin, proportional bodies are considered sexy. Obese or overweight people are looked down upon. It’s easy to feel sorry for one’s self, to turn out to being depressed or anxious or to develop obsessions around eating control when one’s society makes it clear that the way one appears is entirely unwanted.
To get into psychological trouble with eating, one doesn’t have to be overweight either. Eating is a guilty pleasure, we all like to indulge in from time to time, all type of people (fat and thin both) tend to turn to eating as a means of emotional comfort when we are feeling stressed out. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that such stress-induced eating leads to weight gain as well, which subsequently leads many people (especially women) to still feel worse, encouraging further stress-based eating and additional weight gain. More often than not, stress-based comfort eating becomes a vicious cycle and thus begins a downward spiral.
Loss of Energy and Bliss for Life
Even if we overlook the negative health and shame aspects of being overweight, overweight people also are likely to have less energy than their normal weight counterparts. It usually takes more effort for them than their peers to be active, they tend to settle for low-activity lifestyles and adopt a sedentary lifestyle. It’s like a vicious circle where the less active people become, the greater their risk of gaining even more weight, and the more weight they gain, it’s highly unlikely that they are going to become more active. The steps that can overcome this condition like exercise (which are highly likely to begin the process of reversing this downward spiral of decreasing energy levels) are avoided and an opportunity for the reduction of muscle tension, stress and anxiety is lost. Sooner rather than later, even mundane tasks / daily life activities like climbing a flight of stairs can lead to fatigue and a sense of premature aging sets in.
You are definitely one of the lucky women if you happen to be blessed with an hourglass figure!
It is considered to be the most aesthetically appealing body type, featuring all the curves in all the right places. Celebrities like Beyonce, Scarlett Johansson and Salma Hayek are definitely among a few who we all love & envy. Knowing how to eloquently show off your curves will help you achieve the right balance between sexy and elegant.
Your aim should be to look subtly sexy while making sure you don’t look like you are trying too hard. In this article we’ll explain how to show off your curves while still keeping a classy look.
Wear High-Waisted Skirts & Trousers
High-waisted skirts and trousers will display your narrow hips and shapely waist and bottom elegantly. It enhances your hourglass figure while keeping you highly fashionable. Pick pencil skirts, peplum skirts and other figure hugging skirts. Avoid covering up your figure in A-line skirts and other such skirts, which hide your shapely figure with such loose skirts.
Your Waist Should Be Your Focal Point
Reason an hourglass figure is so alluring is because the shoulders and waist are proportionate, making the shape pleasing to the eye. Therefore, whatever clothing you wear, make your waist the focal point. Add a belt or a brooch bringing eyes to your waist, laying emphases to your hourglass figure.
Be Careful While Layering
You need to extra careful while layering. Making sure your jacket or shrug fits you well and is well cut. Loose or oversized jackets will hide your curves and make you look boxy. Always make certain that any layer you add on; complements your body shape rather than taking away from it.
Go For Soft Stretchy Fabrics
As far as the fabrics are concerned, soft stretchy fabrics work well on an hourglass figure rather than stiff or bulky fabrics. This is true particularly when it comes to tops. Go for tops in classic styles which hug & stretch over your body. Tops with frills and flounces should be avoided as they can make you look top heavy and mess with your well-proportioned frame.
Wrap Tops And Dresses
Wrap tops and dresses look absolutely stunning on an hourglass figure. They highlight the curves to fullest, nipping at the waist and nicely hugging your frame. Opt for wrap tops or dresses with a deep V neck to show some skin on the top.
Avoid Wide Necklines
Boat necks and off-shoulder tops are your enemy. Wide necklines tend to mess up your hourglass figure, making you look overly busty. Opt for circular or V necklines and stay away from boat necks and square necks.
Peeptoe Heels Are Your Best Friends
While any kind of heels will help you get the much needed height boost if you are a short and curvy woman, as chances are that you want to look taller, peep toes work especially well. They help elongate the legs giving the illusion of longer and leaner legs. Iif looking taller is your aim, peep toes are the way to go.
Even if you are opting for loose clothing, try to cinch your waist to give an outline of your hourglass figure. There is no need to show skin to show off your perfect curves. Something as modest as a formal shirt paired with a knee-length pencil skirt will help show off your delectable curves.
So celebrate your curves and find remarkable ways to show them off!!!
